Description:
BCAAs (Branched Chain Amino Acid), as one kind of amino acids with high added value, are widely used as the dietary supplement among the people involved in bodybuilding and athletics because BCAAs can promote human muscle anabolism. Despite the downturn economic, the total output of BCAAs is still on the rise in the world in recent years. In 2011, the output of BCAAs has increased to over 7,000 tonnes worldwide from around 6,400 tonnes in 2008, with a CAGR of about 3%.
As one of the major BCAAs producers in the world, China produces more and more BCAAs with growing downstream demand at home and abroad. The output of BCAAs in China has witnessed a slight growth to nearly 5,000 tonnes in 2011 from about 4,500 tonnes in 2008.
At present, the production cost of BCAAs varies much from producers to producers in China. And there is much room to reduce the cost to earn larger profit. Furthermore, the Chinese government is encouraging the development of small-type amino acids with high added value (BCAAs are included). That has provided a good environment for BCAAs production in China. Then, what are the main differences in the cost behind the price of those producers? What policies have been made to develop BCAAs production in China?
As to China’s consumption of BCAAs, the domestic consumption market of BCAAs is still quite small, attributing to lacking of BCAAs national standard in BCAAs production. And China's BCAAs industry highly depends on overseas market. Therefore, there are many opportunities to develop China’s consumption market of BCAAs currently. Then what are those BCAAs producers and traders doing to earn the market share as large as possible? And what kind of BCAAs do those end users need? How is the trade flow of BCAAs in China?
In order to dig out more information behind BCAAs market and find more opportunities for you, CCM has done deep research on China’s BCAAs market (including leucine, isoleucin and valine), accompanied by discussion with related experts.
